Only one little hitch, I couldnt put my paddle clutch in because I wasnt aware the flywheel needed skimming - so that will be fitted when I can get a replacement flywheel done.
Have gone from an f13 CR, 3.7 diff, standard clutch and flywheel to a freshened up f13 CR, 4.1 diff + quaife, paddle clutch (when i can fit it) and a superlight flywheel.
Didnt take many pics as I still havent tracked down my camera, think the pixies have had that. Only these to show for now - I will get one of it in the car just for the sake of it later:

I know I should have taken some more but everyone knows what a nova on axle stands looks like, also did the lower arm polybushes as everything was accessible.
Well report wise - im impressed! As a package it has completely changed the manner of the car, the drive is much more urgent and the launch from corners is massively improved.
Obviously only played with it for one day but im looking forward to the rain!
Facking hell, how safe is that flywheel??? lol
Within the limits! It was machined by a very reputable race engine builder so I'm confident it will be absolutely fine. :thumb:Quote:

Time for a headgasket - just gone between 3 and 4 and started between 1 and 2, it wasn't terminal failure so it could have been worse and it will get away with a freshen up and a skim.
The head is off and being worked on and I have got a nice little list of things to do before it gets back together:
fit new bigger rad and spal fan,
change starter motor,
cut the fuel resistant hose for the carbs,
reinstall the edis etc in the cabin and hide/reroute the wiring,
clean and paint a few bits,
full service when its back together
- so happy days!
did you find out what was up with up with it then pal
