Good point.
Tried my other cooler on earlier, and it fits perfectly, but the unions wont fit my sandwich plate. They are like brake line flares.., whereas my other cooler has banjo type bolts...
What coolers are people using?
I need the short pipe version, but with banjo unions....
post some pics of what you've got ad, i may have the sandwich plate of my old xe.
Cant atm mate, im at home...
But my sandwich plate has different threads than that cooler has i had off you.
It has banjo bolts, with a copper washer each side, like brake flexi's.
Your cooler has flared out unions.
I think my cooler is off a astra gte, and yours a late cav or something?
If you have a few different ends for joining etc, could you not take them all to pirtek and get them to put what ever one's on to either end of the pipes, so you can concoct it out of all of your parts? they should do it mate.
Scott
Ad i have a few sandwich plates here, what me to get a pic to see if you can use one? Yours if you want them.
Yes please Benn! :)
Scott-I could do, but Pirtek will want £££££££ lol
Change the sandwitch plate but make sure to get the bolt that hold the new one in as its differant to the one you have.
I had to do the same to ollys engine when i fitted it.
I'll see what i have for you ad.
I have 3, all banjo bolts.
