Problems?? Problems? I don't know this word lol
Hey James, it's good to read up on what engine choice you are going to opt for finally.Quote:

What would the cost be approximately on a turbo like you mention above & lets chat about getting a pair of exh manifolds made??
Anyhow, nice one for joining my exclusive club! :thumb:
Hi Craig surprisingly enough my plans have altered slightly turbo wise, after some more research today i have found a T25 turbine housing from a saab (with the .49 A/R) that is more suited to my application than the T2 i mentioned originally. The T25 housing is more efficient than the T2 and has a better exhaust exit point for my needs.Quote:

Hopefully i will be to post up some pics of the turbo shortly as i have a 'shell' (a complete turbo with no innards) to dry build with :d
As for your unit you are correct in thinking that the best bet would be to send it off for analisis.
A. to find out what it actually is
B. to get the actuator sorted
C. to find out the options and cost of upgrade available
I will let you know a complete price once i have actually fully built the turbo if you are interested?
I plan on having a go at constructing my own manifolds but we will see how we get on first before i get too carried away lol
Why bother, by the time you use the big box and add a turbo youll be saving about 20kg at best!
Why not? with the plans i have and the contacts i have through work i feel i can build the whole set up for less than the cost of a standard LET engine before you put it into a nova thats why.
Besides its some thing a little bit different that i want to do.
If we all took that attitude you might as well say f uck the lot of it why bother at all??
Sounds very intresting. Will be keeping an eye on this build once again.
200bhp+ and 700kg will be very fun :thumb:
