thats looks awesome is it runing yet
Loving every update on this, probaly my favourite project on here atm :thumb:
Just a thought, would mk1 lights fit in there? if so might work better!
Also whats your plans for the towing eyes?
Good work, keep it coming.
Scott
doesn't look that bad, from what you were saying I thought it'd be far worse! Still think the fake indicator sticker thing might be worth a try, give it more of a regular mk2 look
Its getting there colin, looking really good now and Yea why not try and fit a mk1 headlight in there.
I did think of the of the mk1 headlights but then it wont look right with the mk2 bumpers
what a beast this is going to be will you be at pv next year i hope so as im dying to see this car!!!
Mk1 headlights and mk1 Grill will work better - I had a gsi bumper on my Gte and it looked well :thumb:Quote:

Brilliant !!! this project has came so far, shown all those people who were saying "this'll be another one where someone chops out the floor and then ends up scrapping it" bet you're really pleased with yourself hey, is is my imagination but do the back wheels appear to be toeing in at the tops quite severley ? just to get it all running now eh. Good luck !!
My first nova was a GTE that had a GSI front bumper and i wasnt keen on it TBHQuote:

Yes the whole kit was a bit of a nightmare so thats why i have just decided that will do, Its ok for what it is and what its going to be used for
Yes the rear wheels do have alot of negative camber its the style of the rear beam the lower you go the more you get. It can be sorted out with welding some rose joints on my rear arms and making it all adjustable.Quote:

thats the best bit, the lower you go the more it scrapes its little ass along the ground when it gets booooooooosted !!!!Quote:

looking good and nice to see the bumpers on her at last. and if your not happy with the headlights why not cut the grill off and have morrets like i had on mine. as so ........
http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/f...va/bigs012.jpg
and they look good with a mk2 bumper
if you look at the morrette conversion the go into the mk1 wings where the indicators would be, meaning he would have to cut holes in his wings to make the morrette grill piece fit
so he would buy morrets for a mark 1 not mark 2 ......
Funny that i had thought of that tolol as my last nova was a irmscher kitted one

It's coming along nicely. Looks the business. Liking the plain white though.
