yup.. well em and my uncle with a piece of cord lol.. the old one didnt even break coming out.. thought it was quite professional myself lol.. took about 10 mins

Digi-Dash looks good but I prefer the one with the blip on it near the rev-limiter ;)
so do i but at the price of ?20 for the dash and ?15 for another transducer i couldnt help myself.
for the next few months the car wont be getting worked on as its undergoing dvla checks.. nothing to worry about atall.. ive actually asked for them lol
basically when the car was sold to me i found out it had a scrap marker onit (hopeing to god it isnt a destruction one and only a scrap one).. anyway these can be taken off if the car undergoes a vin check.. just to check that this is the car with the original chassis number etc.
what has happened is the car was once a cat c right off beyong vehicles value.. so the v5 was destroyed and it shouldnt have as it was then sold at auction. this emaning its down as scrapped but no v5 had been issued.. if you apply for a v5 then it gets checked out etc etc and when it comes back as clear (it will as its all genuine) dvla will give me a logbook in my name.
anyways sent the v5 app form to dvla this morning so sit back and wait now :thumb:

looking good bud that happend with one of my old cars with the dvla situation.
but i was told it was in a really bad crash i turned round and said its sat on my drive on four wheels lol.if it goes the way mine did they will send a police officer or traffic copper what ever there called round to check it and give it the all clear.

looking good dave coming along really well i thought when the cars had been sent of as scrapped they were useless and not allowed back on the rd obviously i must be wrong as you deal with alot of them :thumb:

Afaik theres no rule/law that says someone under the driving age cant own a car.
The name on the v5 doesn't really mean much anyway, seeing as "the registered keeper is not neccessarily the owner"
lol.. only downside is is if it gets nicked whilst its sorn and crashes into say an audi tt then i have to pay
well a little update:
raymond came over to mine this weekend and dropped off some bits, a grey fusebox cover a bettery tray plastic base and a plastic gsi gearstick cover thing lol. all fitted now anyways
also i might have a full grey gsi kit coming soon along with a new bonnet and 2 mint white doors.

hopefully got a full grey gsi kit inc bumpers coming from bieran off here (top bloke matey thanks a million) and friday i shall be de-badging the back :thumb:

well youll have to pay up lol.. very hard to get but want mine tip top. hopefully might get them delivered either this week of next week.
