Yeah an uprated pump will defo be purchased.
walbro 255 is very good upgradwe
Courtenay/Regal used to sell 4bar FPR's for LET fuel rails :thumb: use that with a Walbro pump.
Phase 2 only needs 3.5bar tho?
top stuff keith!, btw where are your rack mounts from?
The metal mounts are std and just plated. The orange poly mounts I found on ebay, not been able to see another set since tho! The fella who did them sells all the orange nova bush's on ebay so maybe give him a shout?
Keith
I'm using a Walbro 255 fuel pump, fits in the standard cradle well if you use the sleeve off the standard pump as well.
And? Standard LETs are 3bar IIRC, so either way you'll need to replace it.Quote:

Thanks anyways :D
Keith
If you use a 4.0 bar reg when you only need a 3.5 bar reg then its gonna overfuel !!
More shiney bits eh, it'll soon all come together.

buddy boy that thing looks superb, hats off to you sir!
Was it worth stripping the old girl then?Quote:

Not worth getting a fixed one IMO.
Allows you to adjust fueling accurately and to the exact pressure the engine required (if you use a wideband to monitor AFR).
Turbo's and not enough fuel are never a good idea, better to have slightly more than the correct amount.Quote:

Its always better to have "more" yeah, pump wise(walbro is always handy). But not regulator wise, you want the pressure set spot on.
As long as the afr is fine(which it should be if ph2 is designed for 3.5bar), it'll be fine.
Road cars should always run a bit richer than stoich.Quote:

I also then removed the rocker cover, and fitted my new properly painted one, with the amazingly well done Red plug cover (thanks nick!!)
I'll let the pics say the rest!

Let the work roll on, wiring next, yehaa

Hey Folks,
Another small update from the work i've been doing this past two days.
Bought a Riv Nut kit, and fitted rivnuts to the lower front panel, upper front panel, and chassis leg, so I can mount my oil cooler and later on my intercooler and radiator.
