Spent the morning taking pics of the wife riding her horse over jumps (been neglecting the wife of late what with the car and all that!).
However the afternoon I spent in the garage - basically just adding more filler, getting the lines right and trying to work out the gaps round the lights and wings.
It's looking pretty good but theres still lots to do.
I've decided to use Vynamould to make the mould rather than risk damaging the bumper if the mirror polish doesnt take proplerly. Vynamould is basically like silicone rubber but you melt it and then pour it on the item to be cast. Its pretty viscous and can be spread thinly. Once the whole bumper is covered I'll lay over some fibreglass for strength and then I can cast straight on to this. Will be much easier/safer. I'll probably end up making a 2 part mould due to the wheel arch ends.
