Who made those wings may I ask?
Yeah he's making a start this week, new floor should be in sometime next month.
All parts have been made by Chris at cmcomposites.
that is some nice looking parts mate :)
Hmmmmmm lush
Im a lil unsure on the bumper, but loving the grille and wing. Will look ace.
Thanks guys :)
The bumper is my fav part lol unsure whether or not to keep the splitter on tho?

The carbon panels look well. What splitter is on the bumper
I like it don't get my wrong, But i think where it's taken from a mold it loses some of the edges, think that's what im not a fan of... Is the spiltter removable then? Guess what's why the join...
The bumper looks good but I know what benn means, kind of looks like a Corsa B bumper because of it.
Thanks for the comments all are welcome :) it's a corsa gsi splitter that's on, I'm still undecided if it's staying or not.
I guess Chris just makes whatever he wants for whoever he sees fit. The rest of the paying customers can just be lied to while he holds their money.
Clearly CMComposites isn't a business and should not be trading.
Wings look really good btw Chris.
What's the problem with cmcomposites? I've had those wings for well over a year I just pulled them out the loft yesterday to try them on the car.
Ordered the fibreglass nova wings, paid with paypay; after 4 weeks of nothing got in contact, that took about four days to reach a response, got told it would be following week, three weeks later nothing, got in contact; that took over two days, got told they weren't laying up right & he didn't want to do them, I said if it takes another week so be it, two weeks later nothing, got in contact; was told I'd have them week on wednesday, three weeks later nothing, got in contact after four days of messaging and here we are at last week. Got told they weren't happening because the molds are old and I would be given a refund.
I offered you a refund weeks ago and you said keep trying so I did I pulled another 3 sets out which I still wasn't happy with so I gave you a full refund!!
Sorry for putting this on your thread Barry and I hope a member of admin can remove these next few whinging posts!
You have my details Simon so contact me directly before slagging me off in someone else post!!
You also failed to mention that I offered to make you something for free for the delays.
There's a distinct difference between "slagging off" & stating facts.
If you read what I typed last I've already said you didn't want to do them after eight odd weeks & my response was if you needed another week then so be it.
As a business you're ill advised to advertise something you can not produce / sell, yet you have done and still continue to do so.
I could not care less about a flat piece of carbon you want to throw at me free of charge as a goodwill gesture to cover up a scuttle / bulkhead I don't have. You just assume it's something I want in my life. Stringing me along for months has resulted in me now having to pay for storage for, as ironic as it sounds pieces of carbon, metal, glassfibre parts because my landlady doesn't believe a word I tell her, so they whole lot has to be removed from her property; including a car missing a wing to finish it.
Maybe some other customers of yours should give a frank account of how you like to operate.
I honestly could write a massive reply to that but I have better things to do in my life!
Once Barry's parts are finished I'm done with Nova's and the moulds will be chopped up.
I see nothing wrong here.... Aside from possibly needing to renew trader status if you wish to even hope for a hint of support regarding customers stating stuff that May or may not be true
I ordered a pair of fibreglass wings for my nova and paid via paypal , after nearly 2 months of not receiving them i contacted Chris who said his website hadn't passed him the order - it processed the payment fine though!
i was then told it would be done first thing next week, 3 weeks later they did turn up but the fit wasn't great - and it's not down to the fact they are fibreglass as I took off a set of wide arch winga which fitted perfectly,
Back on topic!
cav had been cut up, we're using a few bits from the floor and making the rest to suit. A few pics of the rear set up, it has to be shortened by about 4". Should be more progress tomorrow.

Played about with the cav chassis legs, need to shorten it in the middle and build a floor around it. Hopefully have a new floor built soon and have the diff and shafts etc set up! We've got a plan for the rear set up so fingers crossed it goes well!

Glad it's been started on :)
Cant wait for the updates!
Yeah I'm just happy it's being worked on again been too long! Can't wait to get this floor in! Will be looking like a car again.
That's some work to be done baz, who's doing all the alignment on it when it's put together then?
Should be fun though when completed and will look stunning I reckon, bound to be a mag feature ;)
I know it's a while away yet but what interior is this going to have in it?
Unsure yet, this guy has done lots and lots of 4x4 conversions though so should go pretty smoothly!
Interior, nothing lol just be my cage seats and a dash.just the essentials really. Hoping to have it rolling this year though.
Needs a nice interior even if it's a basic one, don't make it too unfinished ;)
Well I'll have my carbon buckets, carbon dash and harnesses. Prob put in the carbon door card bits aswell. I'll see what happens I want it to look good though. Need to get the cash together to get this engine built up too, also need to buy a new exhaust manifold as I've changed my mind on the side exit one.
your gay............:)
Tbh I'm confused what this car will be used for in the do with you having so many thugs going on lol
Track car, show car, street car or bragging rights lol
Can you not make up some mounting points yourself mate? You running a rear cage? Can maybe tie that in to it? Seems silly to still have to go through all that work fitting a rusty cav frame. Probably be quicker to make your own!
Shut it you lol
Certainly not a show car, just a fast street car that I can take to the track/strip really.
Well I wasn't going to say anything but were making a cradle up for it just using the diff and a few bits off it and making up my own rose jointed wishbones etc and potentially a push rod suspension set up. Time will tell over the next few weeks. I'll have to machine a few parts myself just quite busy at work at the moment. And yeah got a full t45 custom cages one to go in, will need some modifying now though!
Pretty much spaceframe it too pick up the main points or a semi spaceframe. Similar style too autograss boys :)
Poor cav RIP you pain in the ass lol
glad it's moving on now been long enough
Still lots of working out to be done yet going to try a few things before going and making the new wishbones etc first to keep it simple.
dave that cav was a rotten piece of ****. Holes were filled with fibreglass and seam sealer to hide the holes. The repair panels were basically grafted onto rust lol guy at the shop said it would have been more work repairing that over my nova when it first came in!
http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/u...psbjzhbg4l.png
Just bought this so my side exit one will be up for sale if anyone is interested.
A space frame sounds a much much better way.
Do you still have the below?
http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/u...psdz3ozafg.jpg
Yeah I think the rear will be space framed now, nah we cut it up for the rear chassis legs how come?
Baz - Will that turbo not stick out of the bonnet / front panel / grille?
I got a txt from Rob saying the same thing lol I'd rather cut a hole in my bonnet than my new inner wings tho, I'll maybe modify it so it's not sitting so high though.
