Great looking Sport. I'd love to have a Sport or a rep. Really am considering an inversed sport rep i.e. Sport rep but black paint instead of polar white.
yeah after i spent weeks refurbing them etc they did lol then i sold them :roll:Quote:

Yes it was from Prestatyn in North Wales. It was owned by a friend of mine and he owned it from 94 up til this year when I bought it. I have known him and the car since about 99/2000.Quote:

Now 40mm lower on Billy's and Apex springs.
Scott
Really like this Scott. A lovely mk1
Brake dust on fr wheel in 2nd pic proves you likey Scott? :)
That black thing on the previous page looks like it had a proper whack! black snowplough SR's are really sweet IMO. A friend used to have one, he bought it in the dark, it was rotten as a pear. That replaced a D reg Red SR he did similar to (massive side impact into a very old tree) & wrote off in style.
Ive been using it everyday for about a month now, and not cleaned it since National day, so it needs a dam good clean, and some TLC and yeah i do drive it even more enthusiastic now lol
Looks proper original that Scott, don't see many around looking totally OE.
What kit did you use to lower it? Was expecting the car to sit a tad lower when I read it's lowered 40mm. My one is supposed to be 30mm but sits a tad lower than yours
Look in the wip thread in my sig dude. :thumb:Quote:

Wonder if all manufacturers measure the difference in the same way.
my mk1, cant decide to make it a project or keep it as a daily driver and buy another impreza.

As is mate, looks lovely. I'd just paint those drums black and it's done ;)
looks nice, needs a mk 1 rear bumper tho imo
thats how i bought the car, not had a chance to spend any money on it yet. its just a 1.2 8v at the moment, dont really wanna touch the outside much but def considerin a conversion so its a bit quicker but at the same time its perfect for a daily driver if a monster impreza ends up back in my driveway. lol
Seriously mate, I'd keep this as a daily as it is. Just get the right MK1 rear bumper, give them a good clean and paint with mid-grey and paint the drums in black. Then you'll have yourself a lovely motor.
i've been offered a gsi engine, box loom, ecu and shafts for 150quid. ohh the decisions, lol.
i'll def be painting the drums black but think i'll keep the mk2 rear bumper for now.
Change that damn rear bumper it's crap lol or start a MK1.5 thread...
just got the car and not had time, are the mk1 rear bumpers easy to find?
You'll find one easy enough if you put up a wanted advert (obviously in the wanted section) ;) Would look best with the GTE rear bumper IMO.
cheers, i was having a wee look at rear bumpers there and i agree with you that a gte bumper would suit it best mate, cheers
