Hang on, are you saying the 20mm box section frame with yellow plastic sheeting and B&Q lighting ISN'T a proper spray booth? ;) :pQuote:

On a ghey note - I spent some time prepping and painting up my gear box only to find that cos it was an F10 it didn't fit. Doh! So that was a waste of time - I now need to sort an F13 casing:mad:

Check with Stu, but I seem to remember him telling me the casings were identical..... what gearbox setup do/did you run anyway CP?
F10 wont fit over his 1600 fly, thats the prob Ash.
F10 has a smaller bell housing.
Seat looks cool :)
Just been thru this whole thread and look forward to hearing the resulting feel on track!
Interested by the rack moving up mod. Might have to do that myself!
spare f13 gearbox here, ill dig it out for you.
At one point there were three highly skilled technicians trying to get the box on, then some smart **** casually pointed out that it wasn't clearing the starter motor. Don't you just hate people like that!
I decided today that there was only one thing to be done and that was to convert my SCCR cluster and quaiffe diff into an F13 box that was handy. Only trouble was that it was out of an Astra with a hydraulic clutch so this meant making a bracket for a std manual clutch:

which was bolted on like so

with the cable fitting like so

and in order to fit the diff I had to do the usual grind out of the FD casing like so
