I must say im very intrigued by this 1300 turbo engine route your taking, i can imagine it's not going to be to the tastes of sport "purists" but a new twist on what once seamed a rare thing (as in a nova sport restored on T40's etc) as i remember seeing none for years at the shows, and now there getting like nova's with XE's so i guess the 1300 turbo will come into it's own there, i can see the puzzled looks on the faces now! lol

Could do with swapping the rear shelf supports with you when I'm off next :thumb:

Edd might agree, but it's nothing that's irreversible.
For all the negative commebts it might provoke, some 40's 'could' go on & it be made standard, though isnt a Pierburg 'standard'?

just want it to stand out from the rest of the Sports tbh, think the wheels will go along way in doing that, plus the turbo engine is something rare and unique as well.

I guess we've all been around long enough to appreciate the standard restored form, but i can vouch that it is just plain boring and i know i can not leave any car alone that i have, in some form or way i change them! lol

I do agree, however I don't think it will ever have 40's on it tbh, don't know enough about them set wise for me to have a set, plus I think that will the turbo engine 130bhp is achievable, something only mega bucks will make happen with carbs.

Yep found the other shelf supports in the loft the other day for you.

you want it to stand out :) delta kit it is then haha

Mk2 wide arch kit, roof scoop, neons, bee sting, m3 mirrors are all on the list as well lol lol lol
