Best not tell you that ive just spent nearly £90 on a bike i only want the frame from, or that one of the bikes in my room i paid £250 for last year and have spent about £200 upgrading it afterwards lol


I couldnt ride a cheapo crap bike ever, i ride mine as often as possible and take them offroad wherever possible!


Stuart iirc KHS were always understated bikes, well made, good frames and well specced too:thumb:

Same principal applies though..... They both do 'similar things' but very very differently.

I'll have about 3-400 to spend. prob best going for second hand i reckon, but i'm too out of touch with bikes to know whats "good" anymore. Ps i'm fat and middle aged so won't be doing ay sort of mad stuff lol

Tbh you'd be fine on a specialised hardrock (hydraulic discs), I know I said I've found limitations on it, but that's partly due to the wrong size more than anything.

ask spudly where he buys his extra wide bike seats sounds like you need one to lol
