Does your ECU has the high/low boost button?

Genuine EDS ones came with it.

That engine could possibly be repaired, but clearer pictures of the damage are needed.
Deternation (and welding) removes the heat treatment from the metal making the head very soft and you can have head gaskets problems later, so the head may not be suitable for your engine, but would be perfect for e-bay.

Gary.... Yes mate it does have an air fuel ratio gauge however Im unsure how its plumbed in and were the signal comes from etc. Wideband could be a good investment for the future I have no doubt.

Mieren.... It doesnt have a switchable boost button but Im pretty sure Im correct in saying thats not to say they arent genuine eds chips. Regardless I think they will be changed to some proven item such as Beardys. At least then I know exactly whats in there.

Tony.... these things happen dont they, just going to get on and repair it as soon as possible.

Steve and Philip...... I'll give you both a call today for opinions/options as both your work/knowledge comes well reccommended.
