you can get all of that gear from your local truck spares place.. extinguisher, remote cable, pipe & fittings & i'd imagine at a reasonable discount too... i'd be fascinated to see the cost of this kit.

SPA Design make these Spud. Only up the road from me (Tamworth), I turned down a job there not so long ago as they have a composite business aswell.
Phone them up directly & buy one over the counter direct, much cheaper then buying from anywhere else.
Mike, the basic Lifeline kit with 2 nozzles is about £160ish new. The electronic ones with a carbon tank are upwards of £1500 lol
£160ish.....? ffs i'm in the wrong business....
I bought it out of a rally car which was being broken, Unused, but not new.
I suppose its technically new though, as its been inspected and the pressure is in the green. Came with pull cord, piping, 2 nozzles, handbook and 2.25l
£60 delivered.
Thats a bargain, ive got a flame beater but i do want a proper extinguisher setup, as it might only be a road car, but its got a massive engine (in comparison to the 1200 carb it did have) shoe-horned in, and the wiring has been played with to make it all work, so imo, an extinguisher is as much of a necessity as a decent alarm/immobiliser/security device!
The last time i drove my nova (retro rides @ prescott) i had a big scare on the way home where i could smell fire.
Never pulled over so fast in my life, and admittedly did have a handheld, but if i had this installed it would have been deployed in an instant.
Turns out there were no flames, must have been a tyre on a bonfire or something. Cant be too carefull though, Especially on open twin 45's.
can you tell me reecegsi where my carb setup is please
i got a redtop sticker for my i phone but not going use it not keen on it lol
