Looks really good Scott, what did you paint the bumpers with?
 nice !
This was such a pleasure to look at in the flesh
This nova as really pulled me in I want
Its a GM colour, I was looking at getting a proper bumper paint from the era, but it's nls, so got another paint that's close, and had it mixed with a percentage of satin agent etc.
Cheers again Allen.
You should of said hello, I've no idea who you were lol
But thanks that's really nice for you to say.
Get your self another mate.. :)
Very clean and simple. Looked awesome Scott.
sorry scott. i was with bazil and daft john.
Looking good Scott!
The white nova next to my black one, I never talked to Scott either lol, we're to shy us northern folk :(
Very true! You lucky you still have your eyebrows and hair lol
beer heat and southern comfort. not a good combo. i still feel rough lol
im deffo going to didnt feel right coming in the vectra missed the stiff ride lol
Were the bumpers done properly or from a rattle can ?
all it need now is a BIG BLOCK!!!!!!!!
Like this very much! Makes me want a mk1
Car looked stunning at Billing. Love it. Nice chatting to you as always.
Cheers Nick, I was never a huge mk1 fan, but did always love Jamaica yellow SRs so this is as close as possible I'll get lol
Im quite happy with them too, at first I weren't sure, but now I've seen other early bumpers, I know there pretty good..
Cheers Ben, that's a big compliment coming from you, yeah I always feel I don't actually get time have a good look round and meet everyone though..
Same here, time seems to run out and i always have to go and do something...
Looks great with the plough fitted!
I agree it did look great at Billing, nice stance and slightly different to the norm.
Cheers Simon, still un happy with a few things, I've got some inspiration again, and I'm setting my sights high for next year now..
Cheers Iain, well the one thing I've tried is both my car's to have a very unique colour /style combo etc, ok this one's a bit on the '' classic '' side, but I'll keep trying, and that stance is at a price, the price of comfort lol
But I intend to address this, need to get better suspension but keep it low.
Ps: dose your mate want John Holdcrofts telephone number for the sport?
Gaz short bodies look ideal for lowness with comfort, I'd love a set of those.
I'll point him at the forum to get in contact that way if I can talk him into getting it and get rid of the Metro tat lol
So......... Don't you hate it when you got to re tax a car and find your mot ran out lol
It expired on Friday, so it's in the garage tonight for one, then it's getting taxed and insured ready for retro rides.
Astra is on sorn as I can't afford to do both lol
Saloon will be getting a proper advert once I find time, as I'm getting pissed off with time wasting via Facebook etc, might place it on here, but so far not getting any serious offers..
So I'll end up ebaying it..
I'll keep the hatch as it's almost like part of me now lol, but I don't really have any enthusiasm for novas and no plan to ever own another, I would like to flog the Astra too and ideally get something like a bmw or something nice, yet rwd..
Mot passed, just advised on slight play on rear wheel bearing..
So mot/6mnts tax, insurance and on the road for a total of....
£298 lol my Astra mk4 cost £270 just to tax it..
knock knock...
whos there....

I had tbs on my old track car, love them for sounds and torque, but I want to try a turbo engine this time.
lol unless is some sort of big block your not happy, well I know there not bad engines so im going for it.
Well I was going to get it all put together and in as budget build, but now the loons going I might spend more on it and develop it more with stand alone management etc.
Yeah I just rubbed them down and painted them.
Much better without the badges Scott! Looked very nice at billing.....
Cheers Nick, thats the last show i did, need to clean here for the Opel Fruits southern meet the end of this month.
