No its not a normal mask - its a special 3M one that I think is designed for general handling toxic material. The unofficial word is that they are so good that you can you use them safely for 2 pack. Certainly I have used them a fair bit and they are brilliant AFAIK. 2 pack solvents really reek with a strong sort of pear drop distinctive smell and you cant pick any trace of it whilst wearing them. I wouldn't even think about opening a can of the stuff without wearing oneQuote:

It is pretty involved and pricey. TBH I have accumulated the wherewith all over the years but its probably very nearly as cheap and certainly easier if you do all the prepping and trailer your car as a rolling shell to the local paint job. Its not too difficult to do an ok job but its much more difficult to produce a finish upto professional standards. Its almost impossible for an amateur to control lighting, temperature, cleanliness etc etc without a proper spray booth and they are pricey
