It was a number of years back Olz, i was running steel panels and A539's according to the pic I have, I'd guess 2004/5 :eek:
I'm sure you'll be reet tbh mate, I'll let you know where the sound boxes are anyway :thumb: there are only 2 of them.
They do not conduct static testing at Donington anymore, its all dynamic (drive bys) providing you stay on the correct side of the circuit in two places, you'll be fine.
Anyway - I have my airbox that I'll take that you can put on, should you get a black, and another silencer/ bolt on exhaust bung
I don't think the side of the track matters with mine, it was that far over the noise limit on full throttle. The exhaust is fairly quite on mine, so the extra bung shouldn't be required, but if you could take it that'd be cool (Cheers!) and lastly I don't think the airbox will fit, IIRC the spacing between bodies is different on the smallblocks, so it wouldn't mate up.Quote:

The airbox I have isn't 'big block' specific, I presume you're still on a JC50 backing plate which is all that matters ;)
I'm not in the Mids until the weekend before the trackday now. Does your airbox mount the same way as the sausage air filter, i.e. clips arouns at the base and has three dzus fasteners at the top?Quote:
