The column is on a custom bracket that allows me to fine tune it's direction and height, and moved over to the right in an attempt to straighten it up, using the Corsa double-joint and EPAS setup.
Wasn't going to have a dashboard, but I just want something simple and easy to slot in so I can mount my killswitch and secondary fusebox to so I can start wiring stuff in properly.
If thats the case, you can loose the glove box part, and the light switch locater can be ditch, meaning you can moved it all more to the right and then relocate the light switch in one of the heater holes??

Scott you've just given me a genius idea lol Cut the headlight switch surround in half, so it doesn't hang over the end of the dash, then use the removed section to fill the gap left on the left!

Dash looks better than I thought with the ends chopped, and didn't know that skeleton framework comes out, that's cool as it won't weigh to much at all really.

Yeah the exposed ends don't look horrendous, and it shows off the triangulation which is nice.
Without the skeleton it's literally less than a kilo, mentally light lol Needs some bracing putting back in though as it does sag down unfortunately. Just removed it to make it easier to hack bits out of, to remove it there's about 20 rivets that need drilling off.
Keep the glovebox.

I would agree if he was building a track day orientated car, but i think he's already gone past that point, it looks like unless Iain re-instates the frame work he wont have the option for one, i just use a man bag! lol
Took Olly's/Scott's advice (despite arguing against it lol) and mounted the battery on the passenger side. The more I thought about it the more it made sense, and I get to keep spare for a spare wheel in there if I ever need one
