Hey Matt, Thanks for the bump! lol It seems sooo long since the last update Id almost forgotten I had this thread! Im afraid their isnt much to update nova wise as apart from acquiring a few tasty parts I havent done much. Its still just sat in the garage looking pretty. However I have been working long hours recently to save the cash up to change that. Most of my time out of work hours has been spent on the cooper s which is now starting to look really well and to say its been a joy to own is an understatement. Once the nova is sorted the mini's going for some uprated parts along with a re map which apparantly gives them substantial power gains up from the 160bhp they came with from factory so that should make the drive to and from work more interesting! Update soon keep your eyes peeled! :)Quote:

Look forward to updates on the Nova.
Thats it Pete........ The -15% pulley wheel and a re map give good gains or you can go for the works exhaust, air box kit/injectors or even the works head/charger for gains up and above above 200.Quote:

Hi guys, A little bit of an update as to what Ive been up to recently........ With the nova still laid up for the moment and wanting something to keep myself busy shorterm Ive concentrated my efforts on our cooper s. As Ive said before its an excellent genuine example but as it seven year old with 65k and dark blue in colour all the light scratches around the car and chips on the front end were starting to show quite a lot. To start with I fitted the genuine cooper s wheels I painted a while back then I had my dent guy run round the whole car to remove the few small dents it had here and there. Once that was done the car was stripped down one friday after work. I started with the front end sanding down the bonnet and filling were neccessary which was quite a lot! .......................

Then slowly but surely I rubbed down both sides and the boot again filling were necessary .........

Whilst I was waiting for the filler to cure on the car I turned my attention to the plastics. As you can see the front bumper was quite badly peppered.......

And the back bumper had a little bit of damage too so that was heated up and pressed back into shape then filled and shaped.......

After a bit of a sanding and filling session we had the following........

The bonnet vent, front grille, petrol cap surround, tailgate handle and boot grab handle also saw the same treatment.......

That was it for a friday night and I went off home for a well deserved beer!
