Just let me know Dan, if you remeber can you measure the I/d please, just so I can check if it'll fit my let afm?
looks excellent mate, will they be running for the 28th
got to be as its paid for lol, its all bolted on properly now. So need Dar to pay me a visit and set the tb's up. and lee is paying me a visit one night so we can fire the loom on, slap in my group a hubs and sort the brake master cylinder as i screwed the original one lol.
My new wheels should be made by now and will be with me for next week, the chosen wet tyres are the new toyo r1r's that have had great press from other places, been available here the last couple of months. they are also in the 225/45/15 flavour. I think they are also becoming quite common within the time attack circles by all accounts due to the dry/wet weather windows of usage
The tyres are sat waiting for me at my normal motorsport tyre depot and look like this....

We are waiting on the graph.. given to stupid tyres on it, I'll be surprised at what the tranny loss is guessed at :)

Yes its true, Dave at mech motorsport was a star, we had issues with the sbd base maps and basically the car didnt run at all, 5 days before my trackday :tard:, that man got the car in and a quick map put on it which was absolutley fantastic given the time frame. top bloke and very good. defo use him again and fully recommend him :thumb:
just for the sake of it this post is purely to add the footage from combe to the thread to keep it all in line and together

That sounds ****ing rude
OK OK OK I'll get mine book into him...
looks like it really means business now mate..
mate, if your coil pack is mounted in the original position (not over the camshaft/dizzy blanking plate) beware as the dizzy blanking plate has been known to pop off whilst driving etc!Quote:

Wow, top progess Dan! just seen stus vids on facebook. Sounds awesome round coombe!
Awesome vids dan, looks to be well setup, my mate had the dizzy blank on his for a whole half hour before it fell off lol lol lol
yeah a mates kadette did the same after i had gave one spare i had lying about! mine needed a bit of persuation with the ol' nylon mallet but guess they're all different unless the engine heat softens up the o ring?Quote:

Yes gary they are my two types now so i wont get caught out weather wise when a trackday is booked, also get to use the tyre rack on my trailor al last lol lol
For the shiney days like billing the th's will remain on as they 'look' alot better on the car. The mo's will never get put on unless the wet track requires it or i ever had to mot the car
