Erm the above pic.
Do the m/c replacement bit and servos not still fit in the std Nova place? Look lie they do, but you have a modded pedal box with no thingie bar.... How's that work?

It's a modified corsa one, it will be in place where the battery would
usually sit and the battery will be relocated to the boot :)
Looks familiar that pedal box ;)
Been a we change of plan with this, watch this space ;)
Engine going in the back or are you spaceframing it baz?
Oooooo interesting :)
It's going 4x4! :)
Calibra, I've just bought a shell and running gear so I'll be getting all the parts needed off that :) calibra floor will be going in the nova :)

Thanks for links southie, I was speaking to Charlie about his one yesterday and he's have me some very good information :)
Awesome.
But i was hoping it would be custom tubs and a flat floor...
I'll still be using custom tubs and flat floor :) just using the calibra floor as a base since it has all the mounts etc that are needed but we will wait and see when I have the calibra in my possession. Should be some good updates coming soon!
Sounds good!! :thumb:
You're not afraid of ruining the Speedlines? Why not put the car on shabby steelies whilst fabbing?
Cheers Jeffrey :) I didn't have any steelies when I put it in the shop only had cav slabs with ****ed tyres so just left it on the speedlines.
Watching this with eagerness for some hardcore fabrication :)
Best/neatest Nova I've seen with GM 4x4 is that white MK2 that was at PVS last year, everything looked like it was meant to be there and OE
Maybe worth looking at few pics for inspiration
Received the 4x4 donor car last night, big thanks to Dgb and Chrisd for coming up with the car much appreciated!
should be some good progress soon.
Crack on, its the weekend! lol
Haha lol it's my bday though, drink and grinders don't go well together lol

Are you planning on using the cab floor plan then?
That was the plan but after seeing ste's one we might make out own now. was going to use the axle etc aswell but I think we're going to make something up instead because it's really heavy for what it is but I'll wait and see what happens as we go.
**** the vauxhall 4x4 tat i want that mk2!!!
That mk2 escort is smiling at the fact the 4x4 is getting cut up lol
That mk2 has an xe in it lol Behind the cav is 2 rs2000s one with impreza floor pan going in
Funny you said that he was talking about a millington engine. Not sure which escort it was for though he has a few projects in the to at the moment.
Was defo an interesting garage the man knows his stuff
Ford tat, scrap the lot
Yeah he knows his stuff Dave. Not a huge ford gan myself Edd but i really do like the escorts (mk1,mk2) they look great and rwd what's not to like lol
Exactly where my thought process went with my car with using vauxhall stuff and why I ended up nissan gear in the end.
Make sure you take loads of measurements off the cav, especially in relation to where things mount up and there pick up points etc. If I was starting again I'd probably look to make a "negative jig thingy" like they did on Project Binky.
You gona machine your own wishbones up that will be awsome me likes the sound of that
