Noticed you's do motor trade policies.
What the requirements for this ? I currently have 1 thats due to renew.
I'd need 2 modified cars covered on it for myself, i'll be 24 when my renewal comes up and currently paying £1200 a year.
Archie, this should help have a read of this ;) CLICKY

You need to be very careful with this sort of cover, we'll insure you on the basis pof the information you provide to us but you need to back this information up if you have a claim, the main issue being proof of trading. A lot of people seems to think trade policies can be used for getting cheap insurance on your own cars, great for being insured 'on paper' not so good when you come to claim
got a quote today for the E30...was rather happy with it. bloke on the other confused me a bit though lol mentioned a 2.5 conversion and somehow got the idea it was from a calibra lol just because i mentioned PNG. but i shall be cancelling with direct line and going with you guys :d
I'm not so happy with sky. They stuck an extra 25 quid on my premium without any warning because THEY Forgot to tell the insurance company about my breakdown cover. Now my premium has gone up by 20% for moving house. My new place is not a high risk area and the Mrs only got charged 20 quid admin to change the astra on Sheila's wheels.
Don't think I will use them again.
Got the 25 quid refunded for the mix up over breakdown cover, which has softened the blow of the price hike. So am a bit happier now.
Thanks for the latest reply.
Just touching on the address change, we use our own area ratings, there is no set area rating which all insurers use. I can say that your previous address was about as low risk as it gets, whilst your new area is still fairly low risk, it has incurred a premium increase unfortunately.
Thanks
Ollie

Whats the minumim required agefor insurance with yourselveS?
21, 2 years NCB last time I checked
Ollie, how competitive are you for older, high NCB drivers? My Mum was involved in an accident recently and the after care was pretty crap compared to what I got from yourselves. Took me 40 minutes and 4 phone calls to arrange recovery!
Hi,
criteria varies on what is presented to us, minimum criteria is age 19 or over with a full 2 years driving experience.
If you PM me your details, age, NCB level, postcode, vehicle, I can indicate whether we can help.
Thanks
Ollie

would i be able to insure 2 cars with you on a double policy sort of thing? cheers
Hi,
it's unlikely we'd offer a multicar policy, we do offer these policies but they are fairly restricted, we should be able to look at separate policies using 'mirrored NCB'.

Hoping my renewal is reasonable from you again. Its due very shortly...
Mines due in a month or so, and tbh i wasn't too happy last year, I had to half my mileage to get the price back down to what is was the previous year...
Got a quote today, for a personal policy as i am undecided if i'll require traders insurance next year and i must say even with my 20% i still **** myself.
Hopefully you can hook me up with a classic policy when my nova is ready, going to have to shop about for the Type R sadly :(
Just got a renewal from Sky for the Black Turbo - £650 fully comp - gone up a fair amount, ODD - I have four cars, i can only drive one at a time!!!!! i've probably only done 1200 miles since last year, if that!
Good renewal price, thanks.
As above really, no nonsense very good renewal price, beat competitors by a fair amount. I only bothered ringing 2 and they both said just go with Sky as we can't offer anything near that!
I've managed to get mine £120 cheaper than the Sky renewal...
HIC for me were £650 more expensive than Skys quote of... £650 lol
what discount do you get ???
roughly 10% i think
to be honest i want to know why sky wants over 2000 a year. when my imsurance only want 800 a year
First time I've had a renewal price from you to be fair, but all of my previous have been massively inflated for all of the idiots that just let it run over without checking it, so you then go through the hassle of phoning someone else for a quote, phone your own insurer and they then realise they can actually do it for eleventy thousands pounds less and accidently forgot about this 500% margin when they calculated the renewal lol
So I was pleased to get a genuine competitive quote :)
Ollie, does it matter if a car isn't registerd in my name but to the mrs but insured in my name?
