Looks good mate, fit the sideskirts :)
Had another good nights progress tonight, fitted the new braided oil feed to the turbo..... No more oil leakage, shame the same cant be said for the thermostat housing o ring lol
Thought it would be rude not to give it a little run, seemed to idle alot better than last time. It was hunting to start with and almost died a few times but it cleared after a minute or two.
Took a short vid....

Will have to sort the brakes out and get a slimline fan sorted next so i can take it for a test run :thumb:
is it all finished yet mate
Not quite finished yet, only another week or 5 lol
Nice Nova project you got there m8.
I'd like to see it in the flesh because it looks really nice in the pics. By the way, fit the side skirts. Looks really cool with them on.
(Off topic ;) )Other thing, we should meet someday, as i'm living in Bishop's Stortford aswell to have a coffee or something and talk about the Novas, as i got one in Portugal which needs some updates. If you prefer, i'll send my mobile number by pm to you to arrange something (and to see your gorgeous Nova)

Jeff, i got the strutbrace from ebay a year or two ago, i think it was made by MPS performance.
I've not tried to fit it since i've changed the top hat so im not sure if it's going to fit, if not it will be for sale :thumb:
Have a look here - www.mpsperformance.co.uk

So this evening i've mainly been chasing fault codes and replacing sensors along the way  Great fun, faults so far....
13 - Oxygen Sensor (O2S)- no Voltage change -
31 - Engine Speed (RPM) sensor - no signal
49 - Battery Supply Voltage - high
92 - Camshaft position (CMP) sensor - incorrect signal
94 - Camshaft position (CMP) sensor - Voltage high
So far i've replaced the lamba sensor and camshaft position sensor, next job is to change the alternator and "borrow" a crank sensor of a mate. Hopefully should cure it :thumb:
Another small update....... No more fault codes, changing the alternator seems to have done the trick and turned the ecu light out. Insted of there being 12v at the battery there was 16v.
Also changed the coolant temp sensor as it was overfueling like a good'un, instant improvement in how it ran. Idled steadily without any spluttering and didn't reak of fuel.
A little bit confused as to why iv'e got no rev counter. Im using the lcd clocks from an astra gte (same ones used when it ran the xe) When the ignition is switched on the clocks do their thing and it goes up and down, so i know the display works. The green wire is going into the back of them but still showing nothing once its running, would a knackered crank sensor be causing this??? Any ideas/info muchly appreciated :thumb:
Thanks in advance Kev
