No not really (I think?) £150 I'm getting charged for it all inc the battery tray area, he told me its cheap - is it?

Just a small update - I have the battery tray area rust free now unfortunately I wasn't their while the repair was being done so I only have before (scroll up to see before pic) and after pics and not during.
I bought a replacement battery tray panel via SAS and cost £36, but didn't use full panel just part of it. I have marked in red where the welds are. It has been welded in this way so that the water channels still work. The area still needs a clean up its just got built hamber and zinc primer as so its protected for the moment.

This bit was was cut out to gain better access also needs cleaning up and little skim of filler and seam sealer will look like never been touched.

good repair.. is the car going to wear the sound proofing over the back of the 'bay/bulkhead?
If not might be worth just filing/filling those weld marks off the firewall whilst youve got the opportunity..?

no wont have the sound proof thing but the engine and stuff isn't getting fitted for a while yet untill bay is sprayed up like new so have plenty time to clean it all up lol
