Right got more done on the car today the rear panel turned up from Beevers

Started with the drivers side i cut out the rot from the boot floor. I used my Jigsaw with a metal cutting blade did it quite easy as the boot floor is quite thin.

Next i made a cardboard template of the piece i had just cut out then transfered it to metal. Just in place at the mo.

I had to cut the chasis leg by the toeing eye because it was rotten so i drilled the spot welds holding the toeing eye onto the chasis and will be able to re-use it. Then i had to make a box section for the chasis leg. Everything is just clamped in place at the mo i need to clean around where im going to weld.

I did this to an SR a couple years ago which turned out to be a little more rusty than i first thought.
omg i cant belive how much work this needed but fair play to you for cracking on with it good work lads.
