Skating Harrogate's new outdoor concrete park on Saturday. Some useless parent allowed their 3 year old to roll around the skatepark on their little 3 wheeled scooter. The child then proceeded to scoot and fall off at the bottom of the ledge I was grinding down, I tried to jump off to dodge the child, my board got caught in my feet and I fell straight onto the back of my head...
I'm now back at work with a headache, whip-lash and a bad back. The mother grabbed her child and scarpered soon after noticing what had happened, without apologising or owt... Very pissed off.
Do they not have age limits up there?
"My" local Southsea skate park had a no under 11 years old. Unless it was cleared with the owners...

Outdoor skate parks don't tend to have an age limit, wish they did. Indoor ones, require young children to wear protective gear and be under constant supervision mostly.Quote:

My grandma was supposed to leave for Italy on Saturday and would have been staying away until the Saturday after. I had planned a weekend accordingly with my ex who would have been spending the night (and the obvious ensues of course) but today I was told that the flight date was moved from Saturday to the following Monday, meaning my weekend has been automatically cancelled.
