Had planned to see a broker yesterday but he cancelled without letting me know! Only found out about an hour before by chance cos I went to view a house and the woman showing us round knew him.
Really annoying as I really liked the house so I'm considering putting an offer in on it so would have been nice to get a better picture of mortgage deals available
Got my first speeding ticket ever yesterday :( 18 years clean lol
I used to have 3 points for speeding. It was a £60 fine and bumped my insurance up by about £50 a year. The annoying thing is you have to declare it for 5 years even though the points come off after 3 years so probably cost me £300 over the 5 years.
Its £100 now :( same for the course.
I've just completed one of those courses. Better than the points:thumb:

I'm hoping I don't get a letter, think I may have got caught on the a66, I just hope it's slow enough to offer the course. Been clean for a good few years.

As much as I hate satnavs, I've been doing a night gritting contract, and have to go thru lots of average speed camera areas. My satnav speed reading seems a damn sight more accurate than my truck speedo... ive been doing it for 2 months with no letters/fines etc...

Finding out i retired after heat two yesterday because of ballsed spark plugs.Oh well least its a cheap fix.

Amazingly had you cast the concrete for the pool, it would have been your fault that you didn't foresee that the plans would change and you now have to complete the re-work at your own cost. Assholes like this are everywhere.Quote:

You are aware that immigration won't actually stop with an Eu exit.... Ok they might be illegals then but they will still claim healthcare etc blah blah.
Amusingly, and I know it might be a one off, but a colleagues mother in law is Eastern European and she's gone home to be cared for as it's faster and better than here lol

For once a government should grow a spine and put their own people before immigrants.They should deport the crims the illegals and all the ones who claim benefits.They obviously have nothing to offer so get rid.That would free up alot of space.

What pissed me off today was a guy on here sold me an interior that cost me a fair bit then shipping costs turned up and it's fit for the bin. Convinently forgot to say it was all fag burns and worn out to death. Let's say the photos were really well done.
