thats ok Bugatti made the veyron to show it can be done, same with you here showing all us lot a 4x4 nova can be done. And Bugatti lost around 80% on what it took to make. So i think you should sell it to me for around £2000 lol
Colin, people have spent alot more and achieved less! Plus most of the coin has been spent on cosworth/uprated cosworth bits which can be thrown on another car/sold on easily! It's not like you've spent 12k on bodykits and alloys.Quote:

Working on it the night? Might fire round, looks like it'll be a braw night

Are you going to keep the Cossie chassis ID? That would confuse the hell out of people :D
This is my favourite car EVER.....
Will it be road legal ?
Yes it will be on the road mainly just to run the engine in and drive it 5mins to knockhill.
I will be using the nova ID. It would confuse the **** out of the police if they did a vehicle check and came back as a 3door sierra hahah.
Oh and i have just finished painting the shell tonight :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: I will get some pics up tonight when i get back to the house
Looking very good indeed.
just out of interest, are you going to be putting a mk1 or mk2 front end on?
Looking forward to some nice pics matey :thumb:
The kit comes with mk2 front endQuote:

thats a shame (unless thats your preference) i think i mk1 front end looks much meaner, not that the wide arches and ford rims dont say something anyway lol
c'mon then colin, get the pics up! Looks cracking by the way!
Were all waiting, get the pics up :thumb:
I do prefer mk1 also but it took long enough to get the kit i wasnt gona send it back for that. The front end does look funny as its like mk1 wings with mk2 front it just looks funny to me...Quote:

cant you just stretch a mk1 bumper a bit
Edit: a lot lol
Some wide arch kits maintain the standard bumpers, i bought one years ago with batsport front and gsi spare, both standard fit.
Well here we go the shell painted

What do you`s think then????
I feckin' love it but it seem really wrong to see a ford badge in those wheels. So glad you didn't bail on it now
looks awesome mate, looks like a good finish too :thumb:
good job by the looks of it!
Nice one, the colour looks good, still looks a bit funny without the front end on but good to see its nearly finished. :thumb:
What magazine you heading for Performance ford or total vaux lol
Oh is that all ive been waiting for
Only joking looks great! and looks to have some out very well. so whats the next step to do now?
Oh another thing, did you use more primer on the fiberglass bits as they match very well to the metal parts and look very smooth
only one word, Awsome!!
one more picture, colin the other picts that were taken didnt turn out well .....

Thanks guys :thumb: :thumb:
The center caps on the wheels will be smoothed off with some catty to hide the ford sh1t hehe
Mag feature dont care about it really
Next step get the doors finished And dress up bumpers ass the they are needing alot of work. never use magnum motorsport:wtf: then paint all that
Looks brilliant mate !! seems to have come out really nice by the look of the pictures ! did you do all the spraying yourself ?
No i got a mate to put the paint on for me. i just done the prep work on it.Quote:

i love the fact it looks so tame. i mean i know it has wide arches but lots of novas do
Awesome project mate! If only the front track was ever so slightly narrower. But thats being really fussy.
I could bring the front end in a little with not to much hassle really. a pair of adjustable track control arms and adjustable top mounts. There is enough play in the front shafts to bring it in a bit. And maybe shorten the track rod arm. But for now it will be getting tested as is :DQuote:
