My Nova Rebuild

A wee bit of a (xXx_Nova_xXx - Dave) style update here lol

Gave the car a good clean and polish the other week there so it's ready for Knockhill on the 22nd, probably give it a wee wash the morning of the meet before we set off

Not really had the right offer or swap for it so it's staying for now

Looking good vaughan, that would be perfect with a unpainted gsi bumper with red pin stripe.

Yeah its not a good time to try selling really, cars looking nice and shiny!

Could be tempted but I like the look of the 'poverty' front end :)

Still, when you look at it from the front it doesn't appear to look like an SRi which is strange lol

I like it, i just think that without spraying around the lock it looks pants IMHO.

Had the car out a run last night and stopped at a petrol station, looks awsome there :thumb:

Looks much better mate, as said spray the lock though. Id take the griffin sticker off aswell, will give it a very clean look.

Would look mega bare without the old Griffin I think

Boot lock surround will be painted once the MOT is by ;)

Sticker doesnt look right on a mk2.

I quite like the look of the older style Griffin on the boot

Always worked well I thought on a Mk1 or Mk2 Nova

Remove the griffin badge i think and get the lock painted :thumb:

Must admit im a fan of the anthracite-grey look tho, nice smart nova tho ;)

Weekend's update/s:

MOT was on Sat. and it failed on the Emissions. Going to put some petrol treatment in the tank and we fitted a new Temp. Sensor to the engine

Also, swapped back springs with my mate from his silver Nova and it now looks a lot lot better lowered that wee touch more

MOT re-test is this Sat. coming :thumb:

What a ugly nova that is :plol:D

Looks good lowered a tad more, But as people have said it will look better once the lock is painted to :D

Was only a wee trial and/or error and its worked out pretty well I'd say

Looks much more impressive lowered that bit more too but can't really take it out anywhere due to having no MOT on the car :(

lol Well as they'd say down my end; Finger Oot!!!

Looks very nice matey, unpainted gsi front bumper with your red pin stripe will look good, IMO. I really like the look of your car now, all the little bits on it look good, i personally like the boot grab handle it looks miles better than a standard faded grey.
