Needed to make some form of bracket up for the top support of the alternator as with the bike carbs manifold there is no way of connecting the original bracket. After some research I came up with a idea.
Ordered 2 M8 Male Rose joints, one R/H thread and the other L/H, and also a R/H - L/H threaded turnbuckle

So to get tension on my belt all I have to do is slacken the lock nuts and turn the turnbuckle to expand or decrease, so no need for any pry bars etc! lol Looks alot smarter aswell I think
Also stripped my front polycarbs down and got a friend to polish them with his PC buffer thingy. They were bought 2nd hand and had alot of scratches and marks where sickers had been etc... They came out pretty well, still got some scratches on but, got rid of the finer ones and made them nice and shiney :thumb:
