got the nova into a rolling shell, and decided I'm not selling it now......even tho I can't afford to finish it!
After working on both cars for weeks, today I drove the xe like a nutter and nearly lost it on one corner at knockhill.
Gave mine death for 3 hours and ive splattered $hit loads of flys all over the front of of it
had my tow bar fitted friday just gone did a tip run with my little box trailer and today decided it was time to get the paint out so my trailer went from a naff patchy grey to...

Finally made up a roll over jig today

Took the head etc off, changed the cambelt/fanbelt. Cleaned surfaces, put on new gasket.
Reassembled with quite a few problems, got fed up and in a very bad mood.
Then drove it round the block. My day in a nutshell lol
Cheers Mark
Martin I hope I'm at that stage soon, good job mate :)
Today i opened the garage door looked at my Nova opened the bonnet and thought to myself what have a bought closed bonnet moved some bits in the garage then shut the door again
About it really.
Brushed past it getting my bike out :)
Nearly fitted my whole new vinyls on my sr and then bottled it until I can get a mate to help me tomorow
I've spoke about doing some work to it lol
Drove it to view a few other cars, and drove it back. Enjoyed every minute of it. :)
I cleaned mine
Started the SR, drove it out the garage, moved a few things, then put it back
Gave it a disapproving look. lol
sounds like your nova's aren't getting anywhere near the abuse they deserve. they need to be out there, getting used and abused, terrorising the pot hole ridden streets of despair
^ I would if i could mate lol
Today I was all the bird **** off mine again! And filled it full of rubbish for the dump, I definitely need a nova van.
just looked at it lol
I looked at a picture of it while doing an update on my phone.
I think its still in the garage well i hope it is.
Cleaned the carpets for the Spider. Need to refit the trim this weekend.
Thought about washing Arthur, but took the Astra for a hoon to relieve some stress. :)
This afternoon Jeffrey (Vlietje) and myself talked the usual bollocks about Nova's and outlined the details of our upcoming trip to the UK to help out fellow Nova owners. Looks like Dutch waffles are on the cards. Again. Mmmmm. :d
Ahhh but i dont need any thing...lol

 Hoping its just a shagged oil cooler (this is #2 already) and not the rear head gasket
[edit] Giving tech support to people back at work over the phone whilst taking the thing apart is ace though lol
Yeah, but there's not a lot of room for it in the front. I did consider mounting one under the bonnet and dremeling a big hole though lol
Should be able to fit it to one side of the rad with reasonable ventilation through the bumper/grill still?
jack, that engine is far too big! lol
Finished fitting this, I bought it of eBay a week or so ago, it's the old school swm snap off kit, with hub boss adapter and swm wheel, ok the wheels a polyurethane one, but it's good enough.. Cost me a £52 delivered.

I had to buy a few bolts and just gave a few parts a lick of paint..
Most people I've seen fit one there move the rad over to a non central position... but really, I've seen people fit FMIC, alloy rads and oil coolers! You're not trying hard enough :p
There's always the Jap option:

I love the autolok Scott, I had one on the SR years ago:d, I had a collar made that fitted to the gear lever stalk and went within the Autolok neck, held with an allen screw, as theives use to just pull the gear lever knob off and remove it;)
I still have the collar and the autolok somewhere:roll:
I just walked past mine!
