My dad brought home my Corsa GSi wheels tonight with 4 decent 185/55/14 tyres which is a pretty hard size of tyre to get, so he says:

Rubbed down my front wing and put some etch primer on it just to stop any rust from happening - Will be going for paint soon anyway I think:

word of advice - dont expose the primered car areas to the weather (eg arches and your freshly painted wing) - primer is by definition an undercoat and not water resistant - when you apply the top coat of paint (the colour) some of it absorbs into the primer - so on this premise any water will also absorb and get to your panels!
This is especially important in the current weather conditions with all the salt on the roads!
