strangest engine fitted to a nova?

I think you should start a thread in projects about it, I would be very interested to see the car. :)

I'll sort some fresh pics gather up a little more info and give it a go

I've had the car two years now don't have a lot to spend so I save a little then spend a little lol

I would think with that engine in a light shell it could be a very competitive car.

That's my hopes mate I'm looking to get 200 bhp @ wheels

Will it be a standard box your running? (Sorry if mentioned somewhere already)

Ek9 type R box (s4c) with kaaz LSD and 4.7 final drive

My only observation/question is the n/s engine mount protudes in the n/s/f wheel arch quite a bit - is there enough clearance once the wheel is on and sat low on the floor ?

good observation this was another reason for widening the front track when sus is fully compressed it's close but misses

Another observation - seem to remember welding of steering tie rods is a big no no for MOT's - will check in the MOT bible tomorrow :(
