Will the insides be blue this time?
When you put filler on it really should be on bare metal.

Yeh, all will be blue and under the filler was metal, was trying to blend it back in with the existing paint level

started back on the engine bay. got as much as i could done. have run out of sanding discs so couldnt do any more. have got the main lines of the filler sorted on the inner wings. will have to get some finishing filler to sort the imperfections. gave it a bit of primer to give it a more uniform look, even though it will be coming off again to finish it all.

Multitool/dremel for sanding/grinding in a tight space?
yeh that might work, cant find a decent one for less than 20pound though. seems a waste of money for a one time job. have got a die grinder at work but thats air powered.
will see what i can get hold of.
Good times :)
havnt updated this in a couple of weeks due to being busy and the weather cold, so heres a small update.
got on with removing the doors, did the common trick with the bonnet stay and in 10mins they were off.

have now put the doors into storage until i need to work on them.
then set about removing the headlining, came off pretty easy, except for the roof handles being a pain to come off.

had a bit of a play with my intercooler recess, was real untidy so got the grinder out and smoothed it off with that. gave it a bit of filler to help it.

ive decided that ill strip all the paint off the inside of the car to save rubbing it down as that could take hours to get it smooth with it having many layers of paint on it. i started using nitromors as i presumed this would be the best stuff, it just takes so long to work and doesnt always strip all the paint off. only other stuff i could find in halfords was cellulose thinners and doesnt say it would strip paint off. so will have to hunt around for some stripper/thinner that will aid me in a quicker strip.
