The new set up looks good! If you don't mind me asking are they expensive and do they fit well? Have you got any on car pics of the whole set up? Keep up the boundry pushing
Thanks for the comments everyone :)
Vaux Alot - I am sooooooo sorry! completely forgot to get you those measurements pal! I will get you them tomorrow with any luck.
This new setup fits nicely, my previous lower suspension setup will be for sale, with a polybushed inner, boxed off strengthened TCA, with rosejointed tiebars. All the new owner will need to buy is the front mounts :thumb:
Awesome setup :)
Cheers dude no problem, the new set up looks very simple and purposeful hope it works as well as it looks good, thats a pain i've just brought all the bits  just need to put them together, are the new control arms based on the old ones?Quote:

Bracing the cage to the pillars is as far as I would go if I was bothered about weight, Its not going to get the car any lighter by building a CDS climbing frame in thereQuote:

Only thing i will say is don't put it up a kerb because boxed arms eliminate what was before a cheap off the shelf item designed to bend in an extreme impact. That force now running those might mean the end of an entire front end.
I hear ya Si :thumb: Never actually thought of it that way.
Looking forward to a completely solid/ bushless front end now... nice and tight :)
I should have asked if the new ones were the same size and shape etc as the the original GM ones not the strengthened ones you got of JB if that makes any sense? :tard: Are the new ones made from one and a half inch box?Quote:
