Yeah have been pissed off and then chilled, as i've said on mig if its really the best then i'll fit a cooler, just check where it bolts on too and get some pipes made up.

Oh right, good to know that, dont need or what the stat open all the time as that wont let the oil heat up at all which would be bad.

Give Rally Design a buzz as they'll know the best way to do it. May be better to run the take off to the remote filter housing then use a sandwich plate there rathr than the external stat.

As long as it will sit a bit father around it will be fine, it did seem to far around cause the big nut on the plate was pushed hard in to the block.

Tbh not gonna mess able with remove ones and stuff, a std one will and should do. Cheers tho. Mot friday....

Homo just get a mocal stat that bolts where the std vaux one does. This is what i have and you can rotate it to suit! fit on myne is spot on!

Why waist the money? When i can just fit the standard one just moved around a bit..

have you sorted /found where the bolt is rubbing?

Yeah look at the pics, its the banjo bolt for the oil cooler, for a temp fit so i can mot it i've removed the cooler and sarnie plate.

Theres nothing to stop it from the look of it.. It just sits flat on the bottom.
And a std cooler sits in the inner wing...

sounds like the locating stub has snapped off, which is causing it to be able to be fitted, and tightened up at any rotation, i had one like that, but ditched it.

a new GM one has a locating stub that sticks out, and into the bottom of the oil pump, so it can only be fitted one way

Ah mine has that, but still looked like it would fit anyway...

I didnt like the std cooler, looks crap and the 2 i had leaked, mocal set up looks 100x neater, but just depends if you want to splash the cash!
