If he cat C's it, and i can buy it back, all will be good, as i'll at least get some payout, plus keep the car/all my stuff
hang on, if youve declared the mods on it to the insurers isnt it insured to an agreed value.. certainly more than £300 like..?Quote:

They said i wasnt allowed to keep it and it had to be destroyed so i told em i wasnt going to claim then as it was worth more to me in parts and sentimental value than they were offering (£325) so they ummed and ahhed then came back to me with, "If you agree that it is only going to be used for a parts" and send them a certificate of destruction when its finished with and crushed then i would be allowed to keep it and the bonus of doing it that way is they see 90% of it as being unuseable so they cant charge you buyback on it either!
Dont let them tell you that you cant keep it as you can, its your car when alls said and done, speak to keith before you accept anything they say as im sure he will back me up bud, trust me you can keep it:thumb:
Cheers mate, hopefully thats the case :)
Aye, before you sign it over and accept their offer, the car is still yours so i assume legally they cant touch f**k all on it.

sometimes they'll ask for the log so the car cant go back on the road. But as said by spudly, cancel the claim if they're arseholes, you're well within your rights!
Adam, I must have missed something... whats gone on with your motor? Maybe able to offer a little advice as Ive had similar experiances in the past and we deal with insurance assesors at work all the time. :)
