I could drop him a line, but it's not a great deal of a job to be honest, could either weld in a steel box section to bring it out 55mm on either side... ala:

Alternatively, I could have some spacers made up, to fit in between the beam and the drum...

How does it fix on? Rivets/Bolts? (have to cut out some of the rear 1/4 arch?)

You cut out the complete rear quarter, but leave a 1" lip just to rivet the FG onto the metal.
Two options are to spray the panels, rivet them on, and job done :thumb:
or
Rivet them on, and smooth the edges in with more f*breglass or f*ller :gay:
