Sounds good dude, plenty to keep you busy with then!
Got to agree with Rick though, I'm not convinced by the spacer idea. Just seems abit easy way round the problem which doesn't always work.
Can't wait to have a butchers at this wide arch kit.

Jeeeeeeeeeeez lol
These are just ideas being thrown around, doesn't mean I've gone and done anything just yet.
I am currently in the process of having a complete new custom lower arm setup made with RJ'd inners, new shorter tiebars etc, this was prior to my decision to make it wide, so everything is still pretty much up in the air, so no getting knickers in a twist lol
I might whip the drums off the rear, and have some alloy spacers made to widen the rear beam, so I can retain the same offset allround really isn't that much more trouble to do, so thats probably the favoured move.
For now, some crap pitch black dark pics:

Rear bumper will be sold on, along with grill as they're ghey mk2 items, and the front wings will be altered to cater my standard indicators at the front.
Looking good olly.
Like the ideas of making the track wider and it will look awesome with that kit fitted
Fook me, you collected that quickly lol
Nice :)
had it collected the following day from Glasgow :thumb:
awsome stuff olly...
putting the skirt's on or leaving them off??
i'd leave them off, they may not weigh much, but it's still extra weight at the end of the day lol
Will be mean with the wide body on it :)
Oooo loving the wideness...
Thanks for the comments, I'm not really known for hanging around for stuff, so I fitted the kit today... well... mocked it up so I could make up my mind.
Personally, I love it - I can appreciate others will hate it, but thats what car modifying is all about right.
We can't all have a GSi, with Speedlines, lowered 60mm now can we lol
Ste - not possible fitting the rear quarters without the skirts, unless you start chopping them up - I personally love the skirts as it keeps the width throughout.
As you can see from these pics fitted, the last foot or so of the skirt is in with the rear quarter already...
Anyway - enough talk, lets see some piccies
Good news on the weight of the front wings

Steve made a start in removing the front wings

Clearance that will be made at the back, which is ideal, as currently very closer to the inner arch, so either way, they need spacing out (or beam widening) anyway

Kit on, all held on very loosely
