Just a picture of my new turbo heat shield. Made by a friend of mine - Jeff. Its stainless steel, I think it looks nice and subtle.

just another finishing touch to an awsome car, i cant wait to see this in the very near future.
it would have been good on the RRday to day but hopefully the next one..
Looks great Keith! sorry to pick holes, but i dont like the chrome wing bolts, would look way better colour coded! (but its your car and all that!)lol
Just finished reading page 110 to this here page. I'm lost for words Keith. Honest. Thumbs up all the way. And when we meet up I'll buy you a proper pint. Well deserved mate!
Cheers,
Niek
P.S. can't wait to get cracking with the Red Shed. Now what's the winning lottery number again? :)
Needed a boost gauge, couldnt really find anything that wasnt too Fast and Furious or glow in the dark, then I stubled across this Old skool cool Courtenay Turbo gauge. It's new but most likely old stock as it was fairly dusty inside its box (which also looks old lol)
I removed the clock and enlarged a hole big enough for it to fit in snuggly.

It looked piss on it's own, but once fitted, it looks like it should be there and matches the clocks perfectly.

I like that, looks jut right, just shame its not got a multi coloured neon backlight lol
It has no backlight because the bulb is broke lol. I need an old skool screw in torch bulb to fit it!
halfords mate for the bulb, if nowhere else..
Matches your dash clocks really well :thumb:
Same gauge as mine Keith, I think they were made to match Vauxhall dials at the time.
I still have mine fitted as a reminder of what once was.
