My 2 doors are finally painted, thanks to 'dougie_boi' from the PNG
Done a great job of painting them, had them done in a week as well - For the money I paid the job is outstanding
Can't thank him enough for painting them for me
Should be fitted up in the next couple of weeks

Also got 2 sets of door pins brand new from Vauxhall - £3 for the set

The car needs a really good polish and wax anyway
Should be near enough seamless once the doors are on as the wings and back 1/4 panels are fresh anyway
anytime matey will be good to see it with its new doors it will look ace polisher is here if you ever need it mate

Need to get some Waxoyl as well but I need to strip the old doors down 1st
Nice clean doors there mate.... I'd think twice before filling them with Waxoyl TBH.

no probs mate with a nice t-cut and wax it will be spiffing lol there ok to use just as long as you dont lean on an edge to long end up burning through the piant lol
You seem to know your stuff - I'd leave that one to the experts lol
only one way to learn big boy lol plus you can turn the speed down so you should be safe but a could run over the car with it for you no probs
Aye a think that could be a plan for when its all put back together :)

Next update will be the windows and rubbers on then I'm going to give it a good wash, polish and wax to get it all to one shade of red

Got some more 'teething' problems with the Nova lol
1. Exhaust centre section heat-shield is hanging off/on (whatever you'd prefer lol) So that will be ripped off I think
2. Needs a drivers headlight as that one I have just now is feckered - So if someone has a Mk2 drivers headlight they'd like to donate me it would be much appreciated
3. The discs and pads have been renewed but when we've had it out we noticed the pads aren't clearing all the disc and only 1/2 is shiney and 1/2 is kinda rusty... Need to look more into that one
4. The centre section where it joins the Magnex needs a wee weld but that should be sorted all in good time
5. Finally, I think lol It needs a new induction pipe/hose to go from the air-filter to the SPI intake thing. A run to the scrappy soon I think
6. Oh aye! I also need to get 2 tyres for my 2 front GSi 3 spokes

yeah get that shield ripped to ****, none of my novas have had them..
i have a mk2 headlight you can have, you have seen my garage..must have about 50 headlights on that top shelf..lol
also got a welder and i can weld pretty well if you are needing anything welded..
also i might have that pipe you are talking about..remember you looked at it and put it on my racks and said "keep that just now"....
Aye lad if you have a spare Mk2 headlight in good condition let me know and that induction pipe thing I could be doing with that as well

Remove the calipers, clean and copper grease the slider bolts
if the stuff is there, you are more than welcome to it..
will hunt out a good mk2 headlight, take it you will still be able to use your bulbs ect??
I'll get my dad to have a look at it or get it down to my mate's garage and fire it up on the ramp

Hopefully get a speedo cable from Ernie soon, have my exhaust heat-shield taken off or put back into place, centre section welded soon before the MOT and a new drivers headlight fitted

Well, me and a mate were bored one night and we put both of ours up on PH to see what kind of offers we would get (My mate's car is the Silver Nova with Softstars fitted)
Just testing the water with that one, it's not 100% up forsale - Just gauging interest and I thought it would be better/easier to do it on there than have it on here
