I was thinking in engine bay or passenger seat area!

Injectors turned up super fast .
A bit more work done on my tube 60mm wider rear beam https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ae74dbcc96.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f99bf808ff.jpg

Looking forward to seeing the beam progress!
Were you struggling for fuel delivery or is this a pure power move? [emoji3060]
Whats the deal with meth to ethanol? Not something I know much about!
There is quite a lot of science behind it that is well over my head but basically pump fuel ratio is 14.7:1 .methanol ratio is 6.5:1 and ethanol is 9.1:1 . Cars will usually make good power on pump fuel however this is limited once you start to detect knock . Running methanol burns much much cooler so you can make a lot more power without knock but you need to run 2-2.5X the amount of fuel . For me to do this for my next power goal I would have either had to go with massive injectors I mean huge or run 8 1300cc injectors . The tuner has said if I go over to pure ethanol I will get away with 4x1300cc injectors but still benefit from its cooling effects . One other thing is I won't have all the chew on I have at the moment of having to refuel with gloves n glasses n shit on.and flushing the system after each track day. But yea these are proper motorsport injectors so stainless internals and a much better spray pattern than the deka 875s I was previously using .

Mate the lad out of the machine shop came in last week and I said I'm building this for my car I just need a hand to lift this onto bench .he thought exact same he was like isn't this a bit heavy for a track car hahaha . Looking at ordering the berrisford alloy hubs and brake setup for it . And the fcs speed trigger wheel for the sensor
Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk
Ignore, quoted wrong post!
Yea weight and due to running such thin rims on the back it just gives that width back for a bit more stability. This is the fcs trigger wheel I'm going to run so will make it a lot easier to fit the caliper mount etc aswell rather than messing about with standard beam . One thing I just found out was if you only run say 4 tooth trigger for the speed this obviously divides the tire into 4 parts meaning the car can move let's say 400mm without a signal . It doesn't sound much but during a launch this much can allow the car to fall flat on its face with that high res wheel it picks up every few mm so much more precise readings for the ecu to work outhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...28a66975fc.jpg

I have 2 more smaller diameter bracing tubes to go to the stub axle plates aswell but they can't be fitted until I change all of the bolts to cap heads due to access to get them in and out once its on the carhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6f5c882af8.jpg

Been very busy trying to get everything in order before the dyno day . Trailers all painted now . The top slick is the size im going to the bottom one is whats come off . Bearing in mind the bottom one is 9 inches wide . New wheels should have a much better roll out . Fitting twin pumps to deal with the new injectors and also changed to e98 ethanol fuel . New cams and pulleys fit . Fingers crossed it makes some good numbershttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...8c69976909.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b2bace88e9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...4f2535bac1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6e00c2c3da.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2a77f684ee.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...522eb54384.jpg

Mine are mounted to the flat floor . The pumps should be gravity fed from the tank and not having to suck the fuel in . Having said that i did used to have my pump up in the engine bay but it wasnt ideal and just makes the pump have to work harder .
Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk
Glad I asked that.
So I need to have my pump lower than the tank outlet which is good.
Cheers for that.

Was onto a winner at the dyno until the headgasket failed and lifted the head . So time to go back to the drawing board . I have learned i will not use a cometic again now afyer seeing the horror storys of similar things happening . Bottom end was totaly fine luckly but i have been wanting to fit 87mm pistons for a while now so now is the time while its in bitshttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...7c2c04e88f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...88bfbf6b27.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e48913754f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...4a2f0c4ecf.jpg

Sweet, did you buy the head done?
Yea my mate has owned it for quite a long time it was built back in 2008 but the car it was supposed to go on ended up in a fire . So was never realy used . Im going to send it with my block for a reface and a bit of a freshen up and hopefully will have this thing back together for the vauxhall show.

Love this mate, keep it up!!
Pistons are a scarcity, my mate is struggling to get some for his clio engine.
I need some 86.5's but I've got loads of time to wait for them!!
