Well having been out for a spin in the SR, decided to move the toys about, wash the Sport as it was dirty and then line them up for as pic:)

Good day!
Bought myself a new welder so I can crack on with stitch welding the nova next week and I can finally start a thread :)
today....Changed the valve in the servo vacuum pipe on the SR, checked all four wheels to see where the brake fluid leak is (rear drivers cylinder), on the redtop, stripped most of the interiori ready for rust proofing as it's on axle stands for MOT prep decided with warm weather to do the rust protection tomorrow. Then, I relaxed and enjoyed the much welcome sunshine.
Today I ordered what is quite possibly one of the last brand new and original Bosch throttle position sensors for the nova, plenty of 3 pin connection sensors floating around but oh no, mine needs the 6 pin type. Still, at least it will be worth it (I hope) as its costing £94 from Germany of all places, good old ebay! lol
Washed and ran my hands over it
done the rear wheel bearings this evening but still have a droning noise from the back. might need to investigate the brakes

Yesterday and today went out for a drive and enjoyed the sunshine. Also met up with Steve and found ourselves becoming very geeky explaining our Novas to people who thought they new about them and really where just making pleasant conversation. Lol
Fitted new headlamps, wasnt much wrong with the old ones but i'm a fussy bugger lol
Let someone have a go of mine lol
lol I want carbs lol
took old engine out n put new one in. wish id done a bit more research in differences between the td nova engine n the corsa version, headed up to the lockup expecting it to take a day to have done, started well, engine out in a n hour before realsing everything on the 2 engines was diffferent lol to make things worse even simple stuff like ball joints causing me hassle with opening boxes to discover the parts inside are differnt than they should be. it'll be mot'd this weekend if it kills me lol
Measured the plunge depth on the driveshafts so I can re cut the circlip groove on some c20xe conversion shafts. Basically I'm fitting big block shafts and CVS to a f15 box
Collected it :)
