Nova Saloon wip

Storage space for my Engine doner Astra expired so I had a desperate strip session all by myself last night and today...

The upside is a 55,000 mile X18XE1 & F17 Gearbox plus all associated loom and another 4-stud rear disc conversion. I already have an X18XE1 in the garage but couldn't resist a lower mileage one.

No, what do you need to see and I'll try and get a pic before it goes to the scrap yard?

from what i can see the steering arm is quite low? also just to be really cheeky how wide is the shock mount lol

I'm tired...explain it in terms a stupid person (me) can understand..lol

steering rack on these are mounted on the subframe ya mark? is that what he means?

Yes the rack is lower, bolted to the subframe.

I'll be happier when it finally gets painted..lol

Fit it all back together...

I have sooooo many new parts to go in it's a little worrying..lol

Poly windows, heated screen, disc rear axle with all new Astra MK4 brakes, willwood front brakes, OBP pedal box etc etc etc, the engine and box are ready to drop in, I should be picking up my shifter, cables and turret friday.

It's going to be a pic whore contest when it's been painted lol

Sounds good though getting everything ready to bolt back in/on

I certainly hope so..

would the cable shift work on an f20 box if you were to change the turret on top of the box?

Don't know if the turret top on a big block is the same as a small block, if it is, yes, if not you need to adapt it from an F23 or similar at a guess but I'm not 100%
