hi mate just wanting to know what you`ve done to your fuel pump and y?
Machined the boost plunger so the fuel pin can move more and at a faster rate (like doing the white ring but allows a bit more, another 0.5mm of travel to be exact.)
I have heard of this mod on VW and Landrovers so thought I would do it and give it a try considering I have a spare pump..
Have you adjusted your plunger at all as in turned it ? I got another 1/4 of a turn on mine which makes a lot of difference!

I have a photo but you would know I have done anything as theres nmothing to compare it to,.. basically your standard plunger is excentric so you can finally tune it, We have found the turning so its as far away from the fuel pin makes the same difference as thye whit ring mod again!
yea that sounds good, i think im going to wait until the engine is all together and in the car before i start fine tuning it :)

lol whenever, its not perfect bud there is the odd imprefection in the filler and paint but its looks pretty good an most of it will be covered :)Quote:

So got it in and running. There are a couple of leaks on here ( water hose has a hole in it :( and stat housing) and the wiring wants tiding up but she runs spot on and am very happy... :)

id remove that breather filter andjust put a pipe down the back of the engine, towards the floor, dont want that engine and bay getting dirty lol

i`ll second this dan, i had mine like that for a while put it made a right mess, another reason why its not a good idea having there, is that the fumes get sucked inside the car by the heater blower, makes you feel sick:tard:. iv jus got a bit pipe going down below the diff:thumb:. anyway good work mate nice to see it up and runningQuote:

Update...
Sorted out my coolant leaks.. :)
Tided all the wiring up and cable tied every thing up which could shafe and course a problem at later date..
And then got her rup to temperature.. Every thing seems to be fine and overall am very happy with it !

good to hear its getting uo to temperature nicely, not blowing hoses off like the last engine lol

Cut the pipe down, fits better now too :) ...
,and the stat wasn't sat in right thats why it were leaking lol.
My sig will hopefully get smaller soon! Make that very soon!
