Just called Cassie about the Nova, managed to add Lee on with his "points win prizes" license for a respectable price. Wasn't quite as cheap as Flux, but for few quid more to stick with Sky is more than worth it in my book
Luke and I should be at PVS :thumb:Quote:

Thanks
Only in a very limited amount of cases, mainly on very high value cars, eg we've just insured an M5 engined E46 M3 with a £40K agreed value.Quote:

LV did the same to me, I had to ring them to actually find out that it had been settled and closed, they didn't even bother informing me.Quote:

Quick question Olly, i've just renewed with limited mileage, what happens if i go over?
I took it out with limited mialage and was wondering the same thing although im making a consious effort not to :)
I've halved my mileage as its 2nd car and in the past 2 years its done about 2500 miles!
I should of tried sky as i think i pay to much for my age but will have to wait another year now :(
Do you cover HP15 6BJ area?
Kind of put out by sky this time round, had quotes from compare the market coming in on my astra at £460 from tesco iirc, and £480 from privilege both fully comp, sky, £490 fire and theft, wont cover me FC as the astra is worth less than £2k, and found another carrier who quoted me £850 FC, seriously guys why is my insurance so high, im 30 next month!!
You live in the Bronx lol
Not sure on sky's policy on milage on limited milage I know with hic they double the xs if you go over but since my xs is £75 that isn't a worry not that the loon has ever gone over.
And as for stus question yes it's the norm not to inform of resolution
Mine was £440'ish this year, FC, limited mileage 30y.o.
Feck off Rich i do not live in the bronx and you know it, to say im annoyed is an understatement, although my price last year was £790 fire and theft on my SRi cav so its £300 cheaper but still shocking when you consider at 24 i was fully comp with HIC driving a 1.2 nova with engine mods, interior mods, coilovers and alloys and a full exhaust system, plus dvd ps2 and full ice install, all declared, for less than £400!
At 24 I was paying £500 for a 240bhp GT4 lol
Prices have gone up. Plus your postcode is akin to Guantanamo Bay lol
I pay that now for a 90odd horsepower van :S
You suck lol
Unfortunately postcode areas can be an ass sometimes :(Quote:

Right, i need to upgrade my insurance policy slightly with sky as my new job requires me to be able to drive between differnt places of work for my job and carry equipment in my car and passengers ( lift sharing) to differnt settings. Is this gonna cost becasue its not like a major change?
Pm replied Ollie:thumb:
You might find it will Manda as its more than just commuting, as carrying people/equipment to various places is using your vehicle for work related purposes and would probably looked at as business use, and the more your car is on the road during peak times, the more likely it is to be involved in a shunt/claim, this is why if you have a car you wont be using for work (second car for example) removing the 'commuting' option from your cover vastly drops the price in most cases!
Awesome awesome AWESOME service Ive just received from Bruce in your sales team Olly, no hard sell, no pushing a sale etc, just plain & simple outstanding priced qoute that a quick Google cant beat!
Just sorted out the insurance for my Saloon, excellent service and the first time I've not been treated like a robot! Thanks very much to Luke for getting me a decent deal :)
As much as I hated the renewal from sky it was about the best I could do :( :) lol kudos to you guys again.
Although they could not get anywhere close to another quote (their words) and advised me to snap the other companys arms off their customer service, manner on the phone and professionalism was second to none.
just wondering if you could do anything for me?
