Thats not too bad then, about the going rate, best put some cash to one side and get it over there soon.

now i have a new house and a garage, i got it home!
Will_F and i towed it the 3 miles back to my house using his xe'd combo :D
i have done a fair bit of work on it, since i ve had it back home, so much easier to just pop into the garage:d, engine bay wiring's been re routed so it wont burn on the manifold, washer jet bottle relocated and wired up, oil cooler installed and pipework made, wiring inside the car has been tidied up (not 100% yet), brakes are now fully functional ( no handbrake exhaust got in the way so will plumb in an hydraulic one once the disc'd rear beam goes on!), sorted out the idle as i am no using an iscv i have had to open the butterfly slightly to get it to idle, its a bit tight getting access to the screw but bit of playing about sorted it!

not 100% but hopefully final mapping will be sorted next week!
"its alive"
Well done and not much left to do then now.
no not alot really, just tidy things up, though once its mapped hopefully i can drive it to the combe action day under its own steam!
had to fit a gasket between the manifold and turbo what a **** that was, but its done and not chuffing any more!
expect another update and some final power figures within 2 weeks
any body like to guess what it will make ?????? lol
Looking the nuts mate. Bet you can't wait to plant your right foot in it.
thankyou, even on the base map it spins the wheels and leaves 11's up the street lolQuote:

its far from perfect but it will do, once i get another one i will make it fit that little bit better, due to the size of the rad and how far it sticks out from the front of the car it is difficult to get it to look tidy, and the oil cooler positioned where it is very tight against the inside edge but its on and its not that bad :thumb:
at least i can do some miles in it now:thumb:
looking good, good to see it all running, will be looking forrward to seeing it at combe. i take it the grille has no chance of fitting?
maybe but will have to chop about 60-70% of it away will have a look a bit later see what i can come up withQuote:

Yeah i reckon you can get that grill to fit mate, just a junior hacksaw and some persuading! lol
Looks ace though, and if you do get the grill in it will look alto less noticeable thats it's got some power under the bonnet.

the grill fits :)
Can you glue the center section onto the bumper some how?
lol see said a hacksaw would sort it!
That looks a weapon with the bonnet up buddy!
Still leaves it a bit stealth from outside though!
no i dont think i can as the fans protrude out from where the grill would sit so i would have bits either side of the fans and in between them and it would look awful with bits stuck everywhere! it looks a bit neater if thats the right word
