Headgasket blew and was chuffing coolant out the exhaust so off came the head.

Err wait a second, square inlet ports? It's a fooking 16SV head! You can see where the inlet has overlapped the square port, not good. :roll:

Needing a new head, I bought a complete C16SE engine (yeah I know overkill lol) and nicked the head

And spent a day modifying it! Opened up the inlet and exhaust ports a little:

Also decarbonised the valves and polished them up nice :D

And lapped the valves so they sit nice in the head

The head will be getting properly cleaned tomorrow and rebuilt ready for refitting. Thanks Tom Reid for your help the last few days. :thumb:
