How odd should you mention rim widths etc, as thats also all gone out of the window lol also strange how you mentioned sponsership.

I've just bought a full Rally-Cross wide arch kit, consisting of wide front wings, wide skirts, and wide rear quarters which I shall be fitting. This is all secondhand, but new, never fitted.

I've done a sponsership deal with a fibreglass panel company who I'm going to get the bonnet and tailgate from.

So now I'll be running 8 x 15 rears at ET20 to widen the track out to the new rear quarters.

At the front I will be running 15mm hubcentric wheel spacers with 8 x 15 ET40 wheels also to widen the track.

All this said means I can lower the COG quite dramatically.

Spare wheel well is coming out in favour of an alloy sheet.

Thanks for the gen on the wheels Al, I'll certainly have a look at Rota's as opposed to OZ Ultra (or) Super Leggeras...

Al - are these the Rota Slipstreams you were talking about?

You'll have to ask about, but I have a feeling corsa lower arms and stuff would increase your track by 20mm.

Why spacers up front with different offset at the back? Surely having equal offset all round would be better, as it would allow you to swap wheels front to back to even out wear on track tyres?

Olly you are better off widening the rear beam and sorting out wider front suspension. Otherwise you will be killing wheel bearings with the offset of the new wheels and the pressures of tracking the car on 888's.

Having low offset wheels to increase the track will put huge strain on hub bearings etc (which already get stressed enough on track etc)

I've had no trouble on my 25mm spacers and 888's, although mine doesn't have a big block lol

Just because you have not does not mean olly will not, look at Charles..
