Any way the cooler is perfect for now, if you thrash it the outlet is around 23 degrees.. So thats fine
But might need to upgrade when I get more fuel !
its the standard gm wax oil ****... just wants cleaning off :)Quote:

Heres how it started
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01339.jpg
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01340.jpg
Coat of primer and a bit more filler.
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01342.jpg
Getting there.
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01354.jpg
And the final prime :) (btw its much smoother in the flesh. its just the brush marks make it looks a bit rough)
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01355.jpg
Nice idea welding the spacers to the gbox mount.
You use a brush-on filler primer then?
Yes I did iain... works well too :)
A few bits arrived today after being Powder Coated :)
I am very happy with the finish!

http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01363.jpg
They look mint Dan, did John do them? how much did he charge, I may have a few bits that could do with powder coating
Yeah he did. He charged £30 as the mounts were hard to blast. he say anything flat will be dead cheap, like wheels etc
Bushes come today, overall am very happy with them. Price were very good too :)
Cheers John H for the advise :thumb:
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01371.jpg
Well this is how the day started..
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01394.jpg
Lots of filler waiting to be sanded :(
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01395.jpg
Cut these useless pieces of metal up, folded them back and welded them to the chassis leg to help with clearence for the oil coiler pipe work..
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01396.jpg
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01397.jpg
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01398.jpg
And did the same the other side, hopefully I will be able to fit my rad now with the engine in :)
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01399.jpg
Another quick rub down and spray with filler primer..
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01400.jpg
2 hours of sanding the N/S left me with this,.. just requires a bit more bodge applying.
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01401.jpg
Bodge applied..
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01402.jpg
Rubbed down again and brush painted some primer into certain areas
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01403.jpg
http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/DSC01404.jpg
It just wants the N/S finishing off :(, light rub down and then washing off, panel wiping, brush painting primer (on N/S), seam sealer adding, final wipe then full primer adding, colour, and clear coat.. So I have a lot to do but am getting there!
Good progress, top man for cracking on with this ;)
Cheers Connor, give it a month or two and it should be done,.. well on the road any way :)
Cool cool, you rekon it will be done before may time?
